Froggie Legs

As promised, here's a picture of Epic's funny frog legs. She does this pretty much every time she lays down. It cracks us up. :)

We let her off leash today on a quiet street during our evening walk. It's hard to keep your footing in this snowy, icy weather we have this week while she's pulling at the end of the leash. She gets so excited in the snow that she just doesn't stop! So we let her off and she seems to have excellent recall. She stayed close and came back the instant we called her. Good Epic! We didn't let her off for long, but it's good to know it's an option.

Greetings! I've just encountered your blog (following Epic's sweet face from the adoptables site).

HAD to comment, to share that my Ms. Patty Sue, a beautiful mosaic, Rhodie and Shepherd? and probably Terrier X :) did exactly the same thing with her legs; I called it her flattened chicken look (I'm a cook, what can I say)...

I've been thinking about fostering, since we lost our Patty, and want to say to you, thank you thank you thank you, for doing this thing. It's a good thing.

You have my respect and admiration. And hugs.

What a sweet thing to say, Jude! Thank yo so much for your kind words! I hope you do decide to foster - there are so few homes that are able to, that it really helps the rescue groups a lot. If you ever decide you are able to, you should simply contact the group or groups that you are the most interested in and tell them you want to foster - they'll be happy to hear from you and will give you all the info you need to get started.

Thanks again for your nice comments - it means a lot to hear something like that.

Hey, my 17 month old Am Staff cross Charlie still does this! His trainer says he's embrancing his 'feminine' side! Personally, I love it!
