Chinchillas go, Spot arrives

I was medicating sick cats at the SPCA earlier this week and came across a cat that had been sick since he arrived at the shelter. He was stressed to be in a kennel and was just not able to get healthy because of the stress. There were notes on his medical sheet about trying to get him into a foster home that didn't have any other cats, so I arranged to take the chinchilla brothers (who are old enough to be adopted now) back to the shelter and take Spot the cat home to try and get him healthy again.




Spot is a nice boy! He doesn't mind our dog and really likes people. He seems to like it here so I think he'll have no problem getting better, and when he's healthy again he can go straight to the adoptions room at the shelter and hopefully find a home before he gets too stressed and/or sick again. I will write more as we get to know this playful guy better.


Also, in other news....



The Greyhounds are coming!! I LOVE it when we get greyhounds. We'll likely foster one during late July. I will update you when I have more information. I'm so excited!
